Is my financial data safe?

Accepted Answer

We never ask for account numbers, passwords, or government IDs. Your inputs (age, income, savings, expenses) drive the projections. Without an account they stay in this browser - we run them to build your plan, but there's no account for us to keep them on. With an account they're stored on it, so you can pick the plan up on another device. Either way, if you use the chat, the figures you ask about are sent to our AI provider so it can answer. What features are available?

You map every life goal - retirement, a home, kids' education, a sabbatical - into a single plan, and we tell you whether it works. The verdict, the year-by-year money view, the what-if stress tests and the ranked moves to close any gap all work without an account. A free account adds the AI advisor, monthly check-ins, applying a move to your plan, and your plan on your other devices.

Can I export my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with or without an account. On your dashboard, open Edit and use "Export plan (JSON)" — that file restores everything if you import it back. With an account, Settings also has a "Your Data" export covering your saved plan and chat history.

Question 4

How accurate are the projections?

Accepted Answer

We run 100 simulated market paths - randomised year by year around long-run average returns and volatility - rather than a single average. Every figure is in today's money, and a plan needs 90% of those paths to survive before we call it working. No projection is a guarantee, but a range of outcomes is more honest than one falsely precise number.

Do you sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No. We don't sell your data, run ads, or use third-party analytics. The only companies that see anything are the ones that run the service for us - our host, our email provider, and the AI provider that answers your chat messages. They're all listed on our privacy page.
